I am a researcher working at NASA Ames Research Center as a contractor for University of California Santa Cruz under the University Affiliate Research Center (UARC) program. My research interests are in the area of system health management of physical systems. My focus is on model-based techniques for diagnosis, prognosis, recovery and decision making. I developed a model-based diagnosis engine called Hybrid Diagnosis Engine (HyDE) that has been applied to a wide variety of NASA and other systems. A commercial version of HyDE called ReasonerPro was developed by Impact Technologies. I have been fortunate enough to work on wide variety of challenging NASA systems and projects like subsystems on International Space System, Cryogenic fuel loading test bed, K11 Rover, Deep Space Habit test bed among others.
